1978
Started as a small company by 5 partners known as SHUN LEE TRADING, distributing stationeries, cosmetics and sundry piece goods.
1988
Incorporated as JIN SHUN LEE SDN. BHD. (JSL). SDI Corporation became our strategic partner for exclusive distribution in Malaysia.
1993
Due to rapid expansion, JSL relocated to two adjoining light industry buildings to accommodate growing storage needs.
1996
Proudly became the strategic distributor for Selleys Chemical Company (Australia) for adhesives and sealants in Malaysia.
1999
Established FAMOUS STATIONERS SDN. BHD. (FSSB) to distribute products to over 100 super/hypermarket outlets nationwide.
2003 - 2007
- 2003: Set up POWERPLUS SDN. BHD. for adhesive manufacturing and stationery repacking.
- 2005: Partnered with M&G Chenguang to expand our product offerings.
- 2007: Established RESTU STATIONERS to supply government sectors.
2008 - 2009
Significant infrastructural growth as both FSSB and PPSB relocated their operations to single commercial factory buildings to meet scaling demands.
2010 - 2011
Ventured into the hospitality industry with the launch of Hotel JSL in 2010.
In 2011, expanded operations by purchasing an 87,500 sq. ft. facility with attached office buildings and warehouses.
2014 - 2016
- 2014: Appointed sole agent for Sakura Color Products Corporation (Japan).
- 2015: Cooperated with Corex Stationery to develop precise pen tips tailored for Southeast Asia.
- 2016: Became the exclusive distributor for Polar Bear stationery items.
2019 - Present
Became sole distributor for ZhongShan GuoAn Torch Technology, a global leader in anti-counterfeiting.
